Something for Grey and Rainy Days

I’m not so keen on winter days where you don’t see the sun and dusk seems to begin at lunch time. Grey is a great thing when it’s an area between two extremes but it’s very dull on a late November day.

It’s definitely the lack of light that I dislike rather than the cold in winter. Chilly days are refreshing and the winter sun in the UK is wonderful.

Noodle Cam

I’ve recently built a ‘catcam’ kit from Mr Lee ( CatCamlink ) and I’ve been having some fun equipping my terrier, Noodle, with it whilst out on walks. There are a few teething troubles to sort out- the box keeps falling off due to Noodles spinning jumping and running (she’s a lively little thing) so I need a stronger bit of wire or string to hold it in place.

I was pleasantly surprised to find Noodle was totally relaxed to wear the camera under her chin. It must be quite comfy and she took to it like a pro.

Openland

So, I think I’ve finally finished the main areas of the Openland soundtrack. I just need to consider the separate album that will be released along with the film now. Dub Stumble ep is Almost Finished

These things always take longer than you expect but I’ve finished the musical side of things and just have to tie up the artwork. Head over to http://www.lamadameaveclechien.com/ for a few audio clips. I’m teetering on the edge as to whether to change the name of it. ‘Expected Eventuality’ could be wrong. I dunno, it’s just bugging me and so I’m thinking ‘Dummy ep’ might be better.

The ep will be available on vinyl only and limited to 500 copies. I’m not sure if a download version will happen. The nice people behind ‘La Madame avec le Chien’ are very much pro vinyl and that suits me. If you want to hear the ep and don’t have a turntable then maybe it’s about time to invest in one.
